Green Days is a small hobby farm located in the western foothills of the Sierras in charming Northern California town of Placerville. Here in the historical Gold Country we found our own treasure in home grown foods and blending happily with Mother Nature. We believe in sustainable lifestyle, living off grid and leaving a small footprint on this planet Earth.

We grow fruits and vegetables, raise chickens and bees, breed adorable mini milking goats, charming Bichon Frise, smiley Corgis, and we use German shepherds as guard dogs. We like to think of ourselves as collectors of the world's health, beauty and cuteness.

 

On our farm we keep a fairly small and manageable amount of animals. We want to be able to give every creature as much love and care as we can, using natural practices, herbs and natural supplements in the holistic care of our dogs and goats.

 

Being a dog breeder and a judge for dog shows in the past, I just can't help it, I must   have the purest, the finest, the best animals to keep, either a goat or dog. Once you are a breeder, you are a breeder for life! After extensive research and poring over hundreds of pedigrees, we welcomed some truly remarkable animals to our farm. 

 

We get our goats from one of the best Nigerian Dwarf breeder in a country. They were pioneers who brought this breed to the US and spent over 30 years improving it. Many of their goas were awarded for quality of their offspring and milk production. We have also followed their example, dedicating another 15 years to breeding for excellent temperament, milk production, and overall health.

 

Beyond exceptional pedigrees, all our animals as healthy and happy as can be and live a fantastic life here! Who wouldn't enjoy growing up on a hobby farm?  Sounds like a blast!
